Kawai Kids strongly believes in the importance of both play based learning and academic learning. We focus on providing hands-on experiences for the whole child with emphasis on different developmental domains including cognitive, social, emotional, language, self-help, adaptive, physical and gross motor development.

All activities are age appropriate. We offer an extensive curriculum which includes music, stories, art, indoor and outdoor play, and social development. There is an emphasis on learning social skills and Kindergarten readiness. Stimulating experiences are offered daily with a balance of teacher directed and child-initiated activities.

Our Montebello location offers an after-school program that includes pick up service if needed. Homework assistance is an integral part of our daily routine and afternoon snacks are provided. Full-day care is available for our after-school students when needed.

Infant care is available at our Montebello location and coming soon to our Alhambra location! We accomodate each infant in our care according to their individual schedules and development. We provids our infants with play-based activities that focus on developmenting their physical, social-emotional, cognitive and language skills. Our infant teachers incorporate sensory exploration, music and early literacy skills.
